Glublers & Subglublers

Glublers are how you collect and organize the websites you care about on Glubler. A Glubler is a named list of curated websites; a Subglubler is a list nested inside another list. Together they let you build a hierarchy that mirrors how you actually think about your interests.

What is a Glubler

A Glubler is a named collection of websites that you have chosen to keep on Glubler. Rather than saving a bookmark and losing it in a browser folder, you glue the site to a Glubler, where it stays curated, searchable, and optionally shareable with others.

Each Glubler has:

• A title you choose, such as "Development" or "Photography"
• A shareable link at glubler.com/yourname/your-glubler
• Its own set of glued websites
• Optionally, a set of Subglublers nested inside it

You can create as many top-level Glublers as you like, on any plan. There is no limit.

What is a Subglubler

A Subglubler is a Glubler that lives inside another Glubler. Technically it is the same kind of object as a regular Glubler; the only difference is that it has a parent.

How They Fit Together

Glue is the action of attaching a website to a Glubler or Subglubler. It works the same way at every level, so the structure looks like this:

One thing worth knowing: a Subglubler does not automatically inherit or merge in the websites of its children. If you glue a site to "CSS", it belongs to "CSS", not to "Development". When browsing, Glubler will show you content from nested levels so you can drill down, but the items stay filed under the level where you actually glued them.

Creating a Glubler

1. Click the Create button in the sidebar
2. Select Glubler
3. Give it a title and, if you like, a description
4. Choose a visibility: public, unlisted, or private
5. Save it, then start gluing websites to it

Creating Subglublers

Subglublers are created from within the Glubler you want to nest inside, so the new list always attaches to the level you are currently viewing.

1. Open the Glubler you want to add a Subglubler to
2. Use the Create button and select Subglubler
3. Name it and save
4. Click into it to glue websites or add another level

Subglubler names must be unique within their parent, so you cannot have two Subglublers with the same name under the same Glubler. The same name under a different parent is fine.

Sharing a Collection

Every Glubler and every Subglubler has its own address, so you can share a single nested list without exposing everything above it.

• Copy the collection's link and send it to anyone
• Set a collection to private if you only want it for yourself
• Other users can follow collections they find interesting, which lets them see updates as you add to them

Followers see newly glued websites as you add them, so a shared Glubler works well as a curated feed for a particular subject.

Tips & Best Practices

• Group by how you actually use the sites, not by subject alone. A "Read Later" Glubler with Subglublers for "Weekend" and "On the Go" often stays more useful than one organised by topic.
• Keep nesting shallow at first. Two or three levels is usually plenty; deeper trees get hard to navigate.
• Glue to the most specific Subglubler that fits. Filing a site too high up is the main reason people lose track of it.
• Name Subglublers for their purpose rather than their contents, so the name still makes sense as the list grows.
• Once a Glubler gets crowded, give it Subglublers rather than deleting and recreating it, so you keep your existing links and followers.
