A new Glubler account gives you an empty feed, and an empty feed looks like the platform has nothing to offer. It is not that nothing exists — it is that nothing has been pointed at you yet.
Two things change that in the first ten minutes: following people, and choosing what the feed shows. Do both, and Glubler starts feeling genuinely useful.
You do not need to follow anyone to use Glubler well. But the feed is where the discovery is, and this is the part most people never set up.
The search bar takes more than website addresses. It takes a username or profile name, so you can look for a person directly.
What makes a good follow in a Glubler sense is a person who glues the same things you care about. You are not following their life — you are subscribing to their taste.
Practical ways to find them:
The Follow button is the same one used for people, and it appears on their profile. Following someone means their glued websites join your feed — not their activity, because Glubler has no posting or activity stream.
You can also subscribe to a single collection rather than a whole person, using TRACK.
Follow subscribes you to someone's glues across their whole account. TRACK subscribes you to one collection — the travel list, one recipe Glubler, one shared wiki set — and nothing else. TRACK is the quieter of the two.
This is worth using deliberately. A large collection you follow can dominate a feed, so tracking the specific one that interests you is often better than following the person.
How much you see is controlled in Settings → Tune Feed. Three dials, each of which is a cap rather than a filter:
| Option | What it controls |
|---|---|
| By Following | Only the people and collections you follow |
| Most Glued | Adds what is popular across Glubler, so you see things outside your circle |
| AI Suggested | Adds suggestions based on what you have glued and saved |
They are not styles you pick between — they are amounts you set, and they stack. Turn everything down and the feed is only your own follows; turn Most Glued up while you are exploring, then turn it back down once you have found people.
See Tune Feed for the detail on how each one behaves.
A pattern that works well for most people:
A feed of twenty follows and three dials at low settings is a better feed than the same twenty with everything turned up.
Following is not a commitment, and a feed you have muted is not a judgement on anyone. Two practical tips:
Type it into the search bar, which accepts a website address or a user profile name as well. Or ask them directly — it is on their profile page.
Follow subscribes you to a person's glues across their account. TRACK subscribes you to one collection only. Use TRACK when you want one list rather than everything someone does.
Almost certainly that you have not followed anyone, or that the dials are turned down. Follow ten people first; the feed fills from that, not from the settings.
Yes, indirectly. Search a website or subject you care about, open the results, and follow the people who glued them. It is how most people discover accounts worth following.
You will see what the feed dials allow. If you follow someone and do not see their finds, check that By Following is not turned to zero in Tune Feed.
No. Collections you glued to yourself are unaffected, and so is anything you have already saved. Only what reaches your feed changes.
