Your Glubler profile is your personal space on the platform and often the first impression others have of you. This guide will help you customize your profile to best represent who you are and what matters to you.
A well-designed profile can help you connect with like-minded people and showcase your personality, interests, and accomplishments.
Profile Basics
Name and Username
Set your display name and unique username:
1. Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings
2. Click "Personal and Account Information"
3. Select "Name" or "Username" to make changes
Note: You can change your username once every 30 days.
Bio Information
Add a compelling bio description:
1. Go to your profile by clicking your name/picture
2. Click "Edit Profile"
3. Add or update your bio (up to 101 characters)
4. Include emojis or formatting for extra personality
Contact and Basic Info
Add personal details like:
- Work and education history
- Current city and hometown
- Relationship status
- Contact information (email, website, phone)
Note: For each item, you can set specific privacy controls.
Visual Elements
Profile Picture
Add or update your profile picture:
1. Go to your profile
2. Click your current profile picture
3. Select "Upload Photo" or "Take Photo"
4. Crop and adjust as needed
5. Click "Save"
Recommended: Use a 400×400 pixel square image for best results.
Cover Photo
Add a cover image to the top of your profile:
1. Go to your profile
2. Click "Edit Cover Photo"
3. Upload a new image or choose from your photos
4. Reposition by dragging the image
5. Click "Save Changes"
Recommended: Use a 1032×456 pixel image for optimal display.
Tip: Your profile and cover photos should complement each other. Consider using colors or themes that work well together.
Featured Content
Highlight your most important content at the top of your profile:
Featured Stories
Add permanent story highlights:
1. Go to your profile
2. Click "+" in the Story Highlights section
3. Select stories from your archive
4. Name your highlight and choose a cover
5. Click "Add" to feature it on your profile
Featured Posts
Pin important posts to the top of your profile:
1. Find the post you want to feature
2. Click the three dots (•••) at the top-right of the post
3. Select "Pin to Profile"
4. The post will now appear at the top of your profile
Featured Links
Add links to external websites:
1. Go to your profile and click "Edit Profile"
2. Add URLs in the "Websites" section
3. For verified accounts, you can add clickable links in your Stories
Profile Sections and Layout
Organize your profile content for better navigation:
- Reorder Sections - Go to your profile, click "Edit Profile," then "Edit Sections" to drag and rearrange sections
- Show/Hide Sections - Toggle sections on or off based on what you want to highlight
- Privacy Per Section - Set different privacy levels for different sections of your profile
- Media Grid - Your photos and videos appear in a grid that visitors can browse
Advanced Customization
Themed Profiles
For creator accounts and verified users:
1. Go to Profile > Edit Profile
2. Select "Theme" option if available
3. Choose color schemes that complement your brand
4. Save changes to apply the theme
Profile Categories
For business and creator accounts, add a category label:
1. Go to Edit Profile
2. Select "Category" or "Professional Category"
3. Choose the option that best describes your content or business
4. This appears under your name to help visitors understand your profile
