How to Use Glubler

Glubler has one main action: gluing a website. Once you have done that a few times, the rest of the platform makes sense on its own.

This guide walks through what to do, in the order that tends to work for a new account.

Finding and Gluing

Everything starts in the search bar. Type a website address, or the name of a site, and Glubler will look it up.

1. Type an address or a name into the search bar
2. Pick the site from the suggestions, or just press Enter
3. A preview opens for that site
4. Click GLUE and choose which Glubler to save it into

You will also find a GLUE button on any site in your feed, which is the quickest way to save something you are already looking at.

If a site is already glued to the collection you pick, Glubler tells you rather than adding a second copy.

Organising with Glublers

GlublerA named list of websites that belongs to you.

When you glue your first site you need somewhere to put it, so Glubler asks for a name. That name becomes the list.

You can make as many top-level Glublers as you like, on any plan. There is no limit.

If a list grows unwieldy, you can put lists inside lists using Subglublers. For example, a Travel Glubler with Japan and Italy Subglublers inside it. Creating Subglublers needs a Pro plan, and you can nest up to seven levels counting the main Glubler.

Viewing a Glubler

Open any Glubler and you get a board of the sites inside it. When you go into a Subglubler, you move down a level at a time, so you always know where you are and can step back out.

Two controls are worth knowing here:

• TRACK lets other people follow that specific Glubler. Their following is what puts your saves into their feed.
• Share copies the link to that exact Glubler, so you can send one part of a large structure without sending all of it.

Following People

Glubler works well as a private organiser, but following people is what turns it into something you did not expect.

When you follow someone, the sites they glue start reaching your feed. It is the closest thing Glubler has to subscribing to a person, and it works entirely on taste rather than on how often someone posts.

You can also track a person's public Glublers specifically. Tracking is a stronger signal than following, so it is worth tracking the collections you find genuinely good rather than tracking people wholesale.

You will find suggested accounts alongside your feed on a desktop browser. It is a reasonable place to start, but following ten people whose saved sites you would actually look at is worth more than following fifty at random.

Likes and Comments

Any site in your feed can be liked and commented on, and you can reply to other people.

There is no posting, and nothing to publish. If you want to say something to people, the honest options are a comment on a site, or building a Glubler worth following.

Tuning Your Feed

By default your feed leans towards people you follow, with some popular and suggested sites mixed in. You can change that under Settings → Tune Feed.

Four sliders decide the mix, and they always add up to 100 across the sources you switch on:

• By Following - sites from people you follow and track
• By Category - sites from topics you have been browsing
• Most Glued - the most saved sites on Glubler
• AI Suggested - sites picked to show you something new

Only the ratio between them matters, so 50/25/25 and 100/50/50 give you an identical feed. A useful starting point is heavy on By Following once you have followed some people, with AI Suggested turned down if you would rather not have surprises.

By Category needs a little time. It learns from what you have actually been browsing, so it stays quiet on a new account and gets useful after a few days.

Sharing

Every Glubler and Subglubler has its own link and its own Share button. On a phone it opens your normal sharing menu; on a computer it copies the link.

Because it is just a link, it works in any app, and the page stays live, so people see everything you glue to that Glubler afterwards.

Managing Your Account

Everything else lives in Settings, reached from your profile picture:

• Edit Profile - photo, display name, bio, location, website, username
• Social Networks - links to your accounts elsewhere
• Tune Feed - what your feed is made of
• Data - import and export your Glublers as CSV

Worth doing early: add a profile photo, then follow a handful of people. Those two things are most of what makes Glubler useful to you.
